OATMEAL AND QUANARIAN COCOA SOLUBLE PANCAKES

Ingredients

1 cup oat flour

2 tablespoons Quanarian Cocoa Soluble

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1 cup vegetable milk or drink 

1 tablespoon honey 

Olive oil to prevent sticking during baking 

As toppings: banana, berries, nuts, peanut butter, chocolate chips.

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix the oat flour, Quanarian Cocoa Soluble, baking powder and salt.

In another bowl, whisk the egg together with the milk or vegetable drink and honey until well blended.

Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix gently, avoiding over beating to make the pancakes fluffy.

Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour a portion of the mixture into the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.

Serve the pancakes with your favourite toppings such as banana slices, nuts, peanut butter or berries.
